He didn't notice the missing parachute, either, because the camera pack looked like a parachute.

I almost lost my right arm. I was working on my car, taking the gas tank off. While the frame under the back tires had blocks under holding the frame. Iwas jacked up the.gas tank with a two ton floor jack. This was an old 1981 Buick Riviera with large chrome bumpers. I was reaching in between the bumper & the trunk of the car, with my right arm up just past my elbow. I was loosening the bolts on a strap that held the tank up to the bottom of the car. This all was being done on a gravel driveway. I used my left hand to twist the pole handle of the jack to lower it just a bit to separate the straps from the bottom of the car. When I did the car body came down, pinching my arm in between the car body & the bumper. Just above the elbow, where its narrower than the elbow. I started trying to pull my arm out. But it wouldn't come out because of the width of my elbow. I tried turning my arm left & right, it wasn't coming out. I started to yell for help. I looked around, my wife was in the house, A neighbor was in his backyard, but to far away to hear me screaming. I had to twist the pole handle counter clockwise to then pump up & down on the jack to raise the car back up. I tried several times to get a grip with my left hand, while my right arm was pinned. When I did it started to get tighter & began to cut the circulation off. It came up just a little. I pulled my arm as hard as I could, it scrapped my arm from my elbow to my wrist & I had purple rings around my arm just above the elbow for a week afterward. Very close call. I'm more careful & study the leverage when jacking a car up & block tires & body, never get underneath unless its n ramps & on flat concrete.

Leftovers are usually good for 3 days with constant refrigeration. Interestingly enough, if you heat the entire leftover with your microwave and then take your portion out, it is good for another 3 days because you killed a lot of bacteria by heating it the 2nd time if you put it into a clean container! If you store cooked pasta put some clean water in it to keep it from drying out. Yes, I am a Mom of 2 Master's degree men and the grandmom of 2 beautiful boys who have quite a way to go before college. Ramen is its own little godsend if you add a little bit of frozen veggies to it (99 cents in the supermarket!) And god bless Major League baseball! Never got hit with a ball thankfully!
